Did you read The Girl in the Steel Corset (#1 in the series) as well? We got that this week as well.
I have not read The Girl in the Steel Corset. I did not know it was #1 in the series. The Strange Case of Finley Jayne was my first foray into the steampunk genre and I think I like the otherness, especially once I understood it. BTW love your site.
