What’s the ONE GENRE that you wish you could get into, but just can’t?
For me, it's probably steampunk. I've only read one but it was more YA (Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare) and while I loved that book, I've tried other steampunks and just can't get into them. Which is quite ironic since I do love a good historical romance. It's just some weird thing where I can't seem to finish a steampunk book (e.g. Brooks's The Iron Duke). I heard great things about it, just couldn't seem to finish it!

Name 3 authors that you would love to sit down and spend an hour or a meal with just talking about either their books or get advice on writing from?
JUST THREE?!? Alright, alright...I'll have to say Kresley Cole (Immortals After Dark), J.R. Ward (Black Dagger Brotherhood), and probably Pamela Clare (I-Team). I picked Kresley because she has a great sense of humor and I love her books! I choose J.R. Ward because duh, who wouldn't! I want to be a shellan !! And lastly, Pamela Clare because from the interactions I've had with her so far, she's been so nice and so down to earth! I just love how gracious she is with her fans. Plus, we can drool over Jed Hill together!
What is steampunk? I've seen other posts with it, I've read Clockwork Angel but didn't know it was that genre haha.

ReplyDeleteThat's kind of odd that you chose Clockwork Angel as your one and only fave for steampunk. I've been trying to read some as well and have a few series here and there that I like, but for some reason I just didn't click with Clockwork Angel! Oh well, to each and their own I guess! :D
