Review: Chasin' Eight by Lorelei James

Chasin' Eight (Rough Riders #11)
by Lorelei James
Erotic Romance

Chase McKay has screwed up big time. He has been kicked out the PBR for being caught with his dick out one too many times. Because of the crappy scores he has been getting recently he decides he needs to get back to basics and decides to disguise himself and start practicing on the smaller rodeos. Then there is the one month vow of celibacy, and Chase and Tail Mackay go one month with sex?

Then Ava Cooper, Hollywood actress and rich girl comes along, she wants to life real life for a while, after a bad and very public break up she wants to lay low and prove to herself that she is more then a spoiled brat, and helping Chase get his mojo seems just the way to do it!

We haven't seen much of Chase McKay in the other books other then to know that he is a famous bull rider and a ladies man. And damn he is as hot and sexy as all the other McKay men in this series! The man knows how to ride more then a bull! But apart from being a super hot cowboy with incredible stamina and muscles that just beg for a good tongue lashing, he is also...sweet! And possessive. And just damn perfect. We see him go from a bit of a selfish prick to a responsible man who learns to take care of more then just number one.

Ava was also great, probably one of my favourite ladies in the series, her and Chase are kinda similar in the way that they are both a little spoiled and selfish in the beginning of the book, but as they carry on their road trip together they start to realize they need to take charge and be responsible for their own actions.

What can I say about the smoking hotness of this book! Like all LJ books it had some hot sex in it! These McKay men KNOW how to please a woman! Because of this book I now have a brand new fantasy involving, chaps, a cowboy hat and a deep fried twinky! (I have never had or actually seen a RL Twinky so I don't actually know what they are like. But I want one!)

This book seemed a little more serious then the other books, something really horrible happens that actually brought tears to my eyes.

But I am now DESPARATE for a book about Ben, Chase's older brother, he is just so HOT! And I have a feeling that his book is going to be on my whips-and-chains-excite-me shelf and damn is that doesn't make me feel a little squirmy!

My Favourite Quotes:

"Just thinking about the treat I'm gonna offer you."
"Can you give me a hint?"
"It's long and hard filled with sweet white cream."
Ava sighed dreamily "Am I perverted fir admitting I can't wait to wrap my lips around it and taste it?"

~~~
And could she get a halleluiah that he had chest hair? Talk about manly, masculaine goodness.
(Yes she can! HALLE-FRACKING-LUIAH!)
