Covers To Covet

This time around we are going with Paranormal Romance!
One I like, one I don't.  What do you all think?

I'm starting with the cover I like.  Blood Vow by Karin Tabke is the last of the Blood Moon Rising Trilogy.  I guess the cover is giving us a good idea on what the outcome is setting up to be, huh?  But besides that...I LOVE IT.  The models are perfect, the outfits, the tats, the background, the colors.  I love everything about it.  This series has great covers, and this one is no different for me.
Releaste Date: December 4, 2012

So sad.  I actually saw this cover a few weeks ago but almost didn't want to share it.  But you know, you have to take the good with the bad right?  Do any of you like it?  This is the sixth book in the Dragon Kin series by G.A. Aiken, and one of my most anticipated books since I've been wanting Eibhear and Izzy to get together for such a long time!  The cover though?  I'm not happy with.  Seems like he's being beamed down from the sun or something, just floating there, and WHERE IS THE BLUE HAIR???  I wanted at least a bit of that!!  You might feel different though.

  1. I totally love covers too so I completely understand when a book you are anticipating comes out a less desirable cover. Not a fan of that cover either.
Love the first cover. Totally hot.

  2. The first cover is gorgeous! When I first saw the guy on the left side, I immediately thought of Christina Ashcroft's Archangel of Mercy cover. o.o

The second one is...meh. I probably won't pick it up if I saw it in the bookstore.

  3. That glow is definitely off-putting, it would have been so much better if they'd left off the glow it's too weird and not in a good way...just my opinion.

  5. Cover 1--Love! Definitely putting that one (and the rest of the series) on my list.

Cover 2---Not horrible, but not the "OMG AMAZING" either. I could take it or leave it. I haven't read that series yet either, but it is on my list!

    Enjoy,

  7. Cover 1 - very nice :) Cover 2 - it's an ok cover. I agree missing the blue hair. That said this is still an awesome series.

  8. I think we can all agree that the cover of #2 doesn't reflect the series, because it is awesome!

  9. I haven't read the first series so the only opion I have is from an outsiders opion and it is the better of the two.

I am VERY disappointed in the second. We have been waiting for this book for so long this cover should be epic! Blue hair is a must and i wouldn't mind seeing a srong powerful Izzy!
