How many books do you have planned in your Play by Play series?
Right now I’m working on Book 5 of the Play by Play series. I’m hoping there will be more.
I can't wait to read Nautier and Wilder but it's been pushed back a few times. Is there a confirmed release date for that? And will that be the end of the Wild Riders *sniff* or would you consider writing more?
I’m so sorry for the rescheduling of the release date! That happens sometimes in publishing, and it’s just as frustrating for me as it is for the readers. I don’t have a confirmed release date yet. At this point, it’s scheduled for sometime in early 2013. I’ll be sure to let everyone know as soon as I have a firm release date.
This will be the last book in the Wild Riders series. Unless I decide to do more at a later date. How’s that for ambiguous? ;-)
I probably know the answer to this one but which is hotter: bikers or athletes?
Both.
What does a typical day in the life of Jaci Burton look like?
Oh, it’s messy and unorganized. Coffee and dealing with my dogs and doing laundry and writing and answering emails and doing promo and playing on Twitter and Facebook and doing more writing and answering more emails. Somewhere in there I might even comb my hair.
If you could have a date with any one of your heroes (and of course with permission of your hubby), who would you go out with and where would he take you?
Probably Gavin Riley from Changing The Game, because he’s fun and sexy and I want him to take me to his beach house in Florida. I do love the ocean and the beach.
What has been your favorite cover?? You have plenty of hot ones to choose from!!
The Perfect Play has been my favorite cover, mainly because when I saw it for the first time, I was so shocked I cried. No, seriously, it was that great a cover, I’ve never had a cover like it before, and it brought tears to my eyes because it was just that awesome. And every one in this series after that has been just as good. The Berkley art department has done a tremendous job creating cover art for this series. I couldn’t be more grateful for the work they’ve done.
Playing to Win is Cole's story, and he's the bad boy of football. What can we expect of his book?
Cole is a serious pain in the butt. He’s complicated and he has some issues. But he’s also fun loving, sweet and generous and oh is he ever mad sexy. I hope you all fall in love with him.
Now I hope you don't mind if we ask all your boys (from Play by Play series) some questions..
What's the sexiest part of a woman?
Mick: Her neck
Gavin: Her legs
Ty: Her back
Any details you want to share with us about the woman behind your books??
Mick: Tara cries during Disney movies.
Gavin: Liz hogs the covers at night
Ty: Jenna snores
What do you love the most about your HEA heroine?
Mick: She wears her emotions. I always know how she feels, even if she thinks she’s holding them inside.
Gavin: She thinks she’s tough, but really, she’s the warmest, most loving woman I’ve ever known.
Ty: She pours so much passion into everything she does. I noticed that right away about her. It’s the one thing that will make her succeed, and the thing I love the most about her.
Valentines day has just passed, did you do anything special and sexy for your girl?
Mick: She didn’t want to go out. She’d had a hard day. So we ate in, and I gave her a massage. Well, it started out as a massage…
Gavin: I made seafood pasta for her, then we took a walk on the beach. We kind of got lost out there in the dark. And then we found these caves…
Ty: Nothing I can say publicly.
How about the most public place you've had sex?
Mick: Read my book ;-)
Gavin: Read my book ;-)
Ty: Read my book ;-)
What would you tell readers that haven't tried your series? Give them a reason why they should read your books!
Mick: You get to see me pursue an amazing woman, who at first wants nothing to do with me (clearly, she was blind). The sparks between Tara and me are combustible, and there’s something real between us that I can’t let go of.
Gavin: A lot of bad stuff happens with Liz in Mick’s book. You need to see her earn her redemption in ours. Plus, we’re pretty hot together.
Ty: Jenna’s a giant pain in my ass, gives me a hard time the whole book, but she has this dream I’d like to help her fulfill. And for some reason, even though she’d like me to go away, I can’t seem to stay away from her. There’s some smoking hot chemistry between us that can’t be denied. Maybe it’s just physical, but maybe it’s a lot more than that.
Thanks so much Jaci, Mick, Gavin and Ty for chatting with us today! It's been a pleasure. Now for more information on Jaci and her boys, please feel free to check out her info right here:

Do you know what day today is???
The release day of Taking a Shot!!!
If you want to score, you have to get in the game...
The last thing Jenna Riley needs is more sports in her life. While her brothers are off being athletic superstars, she's stuck running the family's sports bar, whether she likes it or not. Then in walks pro hockey stud Tyler Anderson. As much as Jenna would like to go to the boards with him, she's vowed to never fall for a jock—even one as hot as Ty.
Ty, intrigued by the beautiful bar owner, becomes a regular. He senses that Jenna wants to do something more with her life. And as he gains her trust, the passion between them grows, as does Ty's insistence that Jenna should start living for herself. With his encouragement, Jenna starts to believe it, too...
But first, Jenna has to figure out what she wants, what she needs, who she loves, and if she has the passion and pride to take a shot at having it all—including Ty.
But wait there's more!! Penguin is giving away a copy of Taking a Shot to one US winner.
