ARC Review: The Virgin's Revenge by Dee Tenorio

The Virgin's Revenge
by Dee Tenorio
(Rancho del Cielo # 4)

I am going to confess, I didn't expect much from the book, I think it was the mixture of the title and the book cover, which altogether gives the impression of a soft porn movie where the woman dresses in white and gets spanked by daddy.

Buuut, moving on luckily (or unluckily depending on what you like) this was vastly different then I thought it would be. This was a funny, sexy and rather sweet romance that I did have trouble putting down. From the very first line it reeled me in with its humour and warmth.

The romance between the two main characters was a friends to lovers scenario and I liked that it showed how close they were and I think you can really see the connection between the characters as well as the chemistry.

I will definitely be reading more from Dee Tenorio, especially if it is about the cast of crazy yet hilarious characters that were in this book. A great read and a prime example of how you should never judge a book by its cover.

  1. I have to agree about the cover - total miss which is unusual for both Samhain and Dee Tenorio - that said I do love Dee's writing style and this book is on my list for this week so I'll be getting it:) Thanks for the review
