ARC Review: Charmed Spirits by Carrie Ann Ryan

Charmed Spirits
by Carrie Ann Ryan
(Holiday, Montana # 1)

Jordan Cross would do anything to never go back to her hometown Holiday, Montana. But the recent death of her grandmother leaves her with the task of cleaning out and selling the house she grew up in. But it wasn’t all great memories for Jordan. Since she was a little girl she knew she was a witch but the town folk saw her as an abomination and after years of torment she fled the little town in search of a better life.

But of course small towns never forget the past even after eleven years and soon Jordan is consumed with past rivals and facing the one thing she could never focus on, being a witch. The only thing keeping her grounded is her first love Matt Cooper. But all the romance and good times with Matt won’t stop the fact that once she is done selling her grandmother’s house, she’ll be going back to the life she built away from Holiday. Will Matt be able show her that her place is and always has been with him before it’s too late?

Charmed Spirits is the first installment in the Holiday series. I like Jordan. She is a genuinely nice person. I don’t think there is a bad bone in her body. She’s also a very powerful witch. Matt is one all American Hottie. He’s the typical male who will protect his mate and make love to her all day long! But don’t worry girls, he has brothers and they all seem to be hot and willing, I mean available!

If you’re looking for a light book full of magic, love and hot little scenes on various objects, then this book is for you! You’ll soon find that tables are no longer for eating meals of the food variety…… Bon appétit!

  1. Sounds like a fun read. This review has left me hanging and now I need to know what it's going on. (I also like that is the first book(I usually get introduced to series when there are like at least 8 or 9 books out(not that that's a bad thing))) ^_^
