Bound to the Prince
by Deborah Court
(Elven Warrior Trilogy # 1)

I am a huge fan of Lord of the Rings (LOTR), both ther books and the films, what's not to love, adventure, magic, men with big swords, death, friendship, romance the list goes on. But from the film, how many people swooned for Legolas, his flowing white blonde hair, gorgeously pointed ears his huge...bow, loved him. And so, if like me you love LOTR and had a crush on Legolas you will love this book. Elathan, the hero in this book, reminds of Legolas, only instead of a 12A, we are going for an 18 rating. Which means more violence, more magic and yes, more sex, LOTS more sex...loved it!

Lego- I mean Elathan, the exciled heir to the throne, finds Igraine at a bridge about to kill herself, but instead of allowing her to die, he abducts her and decides to make her his slave...his luurvvve slave. But been as elves can literally fuck a woman to death he has to strengthen her mind and body first. As he trains her, he begins to see her as more then just his slave. But trouble is brewing in the elven realm where Elathan's half brother plotting to kill their father, the King and Elathan must come out of his excile and try and save the kingdom.

If this book was real, I am not sure what I would wish for more, the very sexy elf come to brutally sweep me off my feet, or the magical cave that makes you lose weight and become more beautiful. Throughout the book I fluctuated depending on how much Elathan was annoying me at the time. And he did tend to annoy me, especially at first, he was an alpha male where alpha turns out to mean bully and it is one of my pet hates, which is way I didn't get why Igraine didn't just tell him to naff off when she could. I blame the weight-loss-beautifying cave. But he did improve, rather quickly actually, one moment he was cruel and mocking the next a sweet heart, the transistion for me was far too quick.

But, you don't get many fantasy erotica's, and I did enjoy this one, it had a plot, it wasn't particuarly original or complicated but it got the story moving on. It also wasn't over saturated with repeatative sex scenes, there were a lot of them this is an erotic book after all and they were hot, Deborah Court writes the heat really well but I didn't feel I was drowning in them.

Much like LOTR though, the last part of the book seemed to have a lot of false endings and I felt that it dragged a bit, there was a point where I thought it would have been a nice place to end, but something else happened to keep it going and it seemed a little unnecessary.

Over all though I did enjoy this book and I would read the next one, it was sexy full of adventure and more importantly sexy elves.

Still undecided about the cave though!

I totally loved the Lord of the Rings and I am so happy to hear I'm not the only one who loves Elves - LOL I think what attracts me to them is their long hair and muscled bodies with their quickness.

I would love to win this book, either way I plan to be getting it soon. LOL
