All Revved Up

I just loved these Wicked Reads. They are short, with a good story and lots of steam. Just what I need to read sometimes! And if this is what you're looking for then let me tell you about All Revved Up.
It must be my fascination with Mercy Thompson, but I like the storyline of the heroine being a car mechanic, it's sexy! So Faith was the girl from the wrong side of the tracks, dating Miguel, the rich kid who had a bright future ahead back in high school.
They had amazing chemistry, but somehow she lets him go away to got to college and then live in New York. While they've both tried to make a new life for themselves, they can't forget their one true love.
So Miguel decides to come back to his hometown to see if their chemistry is as good as he still remembers. And let me tell you, it was still pretty hot! Something about his sophisticated persona and her not so refined edges works extremely well! And as much as she tries to appear tough, she is vulnerable.
My only complaint with this story was:
a) The reason why she left him in the first place
b) What she was hiding from him this whole time
How could she? On both counts!
It was a great addition to the series of short stories and I'm looking forward to reading more!
