ARC Review: The Winemaker's Dinner: Appetizers by Ivan Rusilko and Everly Drummond

The Winemaker's Dinner: Appetizers
by Ivan Rusilko and Everly Drummond
(The Winemaker's Dinner # 1)

WOW, I seriously cannot write this review without smiling. I swear I had a smile on my face the whole time I was reading this book. I can't wrap my mind around the fact that this book is some what of a memoir of Dr Ivans life. The way Dr. Ivan is portrayed in this novel will have women everywhere going CRAZY. I always say "why aren't men in real life like the men from my novels?". Well Dr. Ivan *HELLO* Are you giving a seminar on "How to Treat a Woman"? He is the perfect guy and this book is a must read.

Love the chemistry between Jaden and Ivan, there was so much passion between these two, they fit together perfectly. Not once did I say "I can't see these two together".  I loved the fact that Ivan only had eyes for Jaden and made her feel like she was the only girl in the world (hehe).

Jaden, an up and coming Chef, meets Dr. Ivan at a special event The Winemakers Dinner. Not able to keep their eyes off each other they soon end up having a one night stand. Ivan ends up wooing Jaden and her life is turned upside down. With help from Ivan, Jadens' dreams are coming true, but will this be enough to keep their relationship strong?

I would recommend to this to anyone looking for a good read with a sexy hero who's not ashamed to wear his heart on his sleeves. Ivan Rusilko and Everly Drummond have done a wonderful job with this novel and I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Fav Quotes

“Were you watching me?” “No. I was watching you watch me. There’s a difference.”

“Umm…we’re not quite ready to leave yet. My date wants to look
for sea turtles.”

“Wait, let me finish,” he interrupted, silencing her by gently pressing the tip of his finger to her lips. “I think love is a bullshit word.
How can four letters strung together represent what happens when two beings who were destined to be together find each other and take their places alongside one another? That, in my mind, isn’t love. It’s a miracle.”

“I would give you anything your heart desires, even if it means your happiness over my own.”
