Review: Animal Attraction by Jill Shalvis

Animal Attraction
by Jill Shalvis
(Animal # 2)

Jill Shalvis is known for her small town romances where she is able to infuses such heart and heat into one of her books – ANIMAL ATTRACTION is no exception!

Jade Bennett escapes her past when she comes to Sunshine, Idaho but instead her problems are of another matter when her boss, Dell Connelly snags her attention. As a veterinarian, Dell has that soft-hearted thing going on along with this roughened exterior. Put that together and it makes for a very appealing hero. But added to that is Shalvis’ unique writing that makes this book such a fun read!

I enjoyed this book a lot. It was sweet, with just that added bit of heat that made this book such an easy read. I have to praise Shalvis and the way she wrote Jade because in the first book, I wasn’t sure how I would like her. She was prickly and stern, but in this book we get a better idea of her past and I loved seeing her come out of protective shell. Dell coaxes the true Jade out and I loved how their relationship was a slow build.

Already, I am looking forward to Adam’s story! I hope it’s going to be another keeper!
