Book Blogger Hop, Follow Friday- 7/15/11

Book Blogger Hop
Crazy-For-Books is hosting a Book Blog Party!  If you have a book blog and want to participate click here.

How/Where do you get your books? Do you buy them or go to the library? Is there a certain website you use like paperbackswap?

Our answer: I'm a frequent buyer, which is a good thing for my book collection but a bad thing for my bank account! I usually buy from Book Depository or from Chapters/Indigo. If I'm starting out a new series and not sure if I'll like it, I grab the ebook first or hit the library stacks.

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee

The question of the week is:

What do I do when I are not reading?

We blog! We've only been blogging for about two months now and keeping up a blog is a lot of work! But of course, it's loads of fun and we enjoy all of it! Kudos to all the other bloggers/reviewers out there who do amazing jobs for the books they love!

Found you thru Follow Friday hops. Great site! I'm a buyer as well, although I have to get through my review copies before I can read anything I've bought! Now following.

I’m seeing a pattern of book acquisition here. After all, there are just so many places to get books and so many different ways to read them.

It’s hard to beat the library for price and selection but it’s even harder to beat the convenience of browsing BN or Amazon from a Nook or Kindle, hitting a button and reading the book you picked in about sixty seconds.

As usual, my answer to this week’s Book Blogger Hop question is all over the map. Hop on over and read my multipart answer – http://www.howardsherman.net

I tend to do all my book shopping at Borders. Was ever s grateful that my closest store didn't close. I love their discounts and online ones as well! Saving money. Book buying can be slightly less costly than other shopping addictions if you do it the smart way!

Here's my Friday Hops

Have a GREAT weekend!

Hopping through. I agree that blogging is a lot of work. It's taken over my life, but I'm loving it.
