This week's question:
"With all the great releases out this month, which has been the one you have clicked up first, and which has surprised you the most?"

Our Answer:

Francesca:
I was most anticipating the release of HOLD 'EM by Katie Porter this month, and it didn't disappoint.  Leah's story was amazing, emotional and oh boy so sexy.  The one that surprised me the most HAS to be HIS VERY OWN GIRL by Carrie Lofty.  I didn't really even know about the book until it landed on my lap and the story was such an amazing tough love story, it moved every fiber of my being and brought tears to my eyes.  The authors' work with this book was magical, from the actual writing to how she painted the world so perfectly and accurately, the characters so real.  I was in love!

Annie:
THE ANGEL by Tiffany Reisz was the one I was most looking forward to. Her writing is like no other. It's shocking, sexy and dark. Not for the light of heart, she is able to captivate readers even as she shocks you with her words. I am dying for THE PRINCE, the next book in the Original Sinners series. November can't come fast enough!

Angela:
There are a few that I enjoyed and loved for September releases but Never Seduce a Scot shocked the heck out me. Maya Banks had me glued to the pages and got a load of tears out of me. One of my top reads for 2012 for sure.

Suzanne:
My favourite release so far has been Frosting and Futures by Tara Sivec, it was hilarious, and managed to be completely sarcastic and funny and yet a little bit sweet and romantic as well. Although I am reading Rapture right now so in a few days my answer may change!

Now it's your turn!

I have to say mine was Kiss of Steel by Bec McMaster. I honestly wasn't really expecting much from it but once I started I was hooked! Its going down in my top favorite books of the year.

Francesca, I am soooo jealous that you have read Hold 'Em...GAH! Dying for this book and to read it. Is it out yet?

I have started The Siren, but had to put it aside (it's thick) for required review reading. But it was good and dark and meaty! :)

Here is my DLS: http://csmaxwell.blogspot.com/2012/09/dirty-little-secret_27.html

I haven't read any of those. I keep seeing Reisz and am going to have to get that one soon. LOVE Maya! Can't wait to get a little free time to catch up in that series :)

Have a great weekend ladies!
